What we do

Lotus Community Wellbeing Trust was formed in September 2013, with the intention of being able to offer organisations and community groups workshops at a cost affordable to them. We are a non profit organisation, any proceeds from workshops go towards subsiding programmes for other community groups in need. Groups we work with in particular are those in mental health support groups, drug and addiction services, aged care, disabilities, cancer support groups and schools.

We are dedicated to providing wellbeing workshops for the community, to help increase resilience and emotional health. The framework that underpins our organisation's ethos is that of the Five Ways to Wellbeing.

Based on the latest scientific evidence, Give, Be Active, Keep Learning, Connect and Take Notice are actions that are shown by research to improve people’s wellbeing. They can’t change our circumstances but building them into our daily lives can help us feel better, no matter what our starting point.

All workshops, presentations and programmes have these actions interwoven into them.
